Dear Colleagues,
Attached you'll find the final exam questions of the EL120 course, which I took on January 15, 2013. Before you scroll down in the documents and see the questions, please take a minute to read my comments first :
First below contains the questions only. I suggest you give it a try and answer them on your own to test your knowledge. I am also providing the answers in the following pages.
I personally thought the exam was very easy. Some of my colleagues didn't agree with me and thought the questions were a bit difficult.
During the first and second lecture of EL120, I thought it was difficult… but as we progressed, I found the course very interesting… I actually loved it.
If you're taking this course, my advice to you is to study study study. The material is easily understood, but the problem is that you will be required to MEMORIZE a lot of information. So believe me, studying one night before the exam is not enough.
I must also say that our tutor in AOU Dammam Branch, Ms. Eman Qattawi, did a wonderful job teaching our class about the ins and outs of this course. She has a unique way in simplifying the material and assuring us that the course is not as bad as we think! In every lecture she gave us impressive handouts summarizing each unit.
What a fantastic lady she is! (Notice the correct structure and punctuation of my "exclamatory sentence" … I am just showing off now lol )

انا الحين ماخذه هالماده بصراحه انا كانت عندي ظروف وفاتتني اكثر من محاضرة بس لما اخذت ملخصات الاخوان المترجمة في المنتدى ودرست المادة لنفسي في البيت حبيتها وهيا ماده سهله ومهضومه وبعد الاختبار النصفي صرت احضر المحاضرات وقبل لا احضر المحاضرة كنت احضر الدرس الجديد من الملخصات المترجمة وكنت ادخل الكلاس وانا متحمسه وفاهمه الدرس ومتفاعله مع الاستاذ
كلامك صحيح اختي اهم شي نذاكر الماده اول بأول حتى اختبار المنتصف هالفصل بأمانه كان أكثر من ممتاز وسهل
